Santo Domingo. Agentes de la Dirección Central de Investigación (Dicrim) investigan las circunstancias en que un cabo de la institución resultó muerto por heridas de arma blanca, ocasionada por una multitud en el distrito municipal de Pantoja, Santo Domingo Oeste, supuestamente porque a éste lo habían visto cometiendo múltiples asaltos en ese sector.
El alistado fallecido fue identificado como Emilio José Urbáez Encarnación, mayor de edad, quien residía en el sector de Villa Progreso, de Pantoja.
El informe preliminar indica que el hecho ocurrió a las 11:20 de la noche del sábado, cuando el cabo Urbáez Encarnación se desplazaba junto a otra persona a bordo de una motocicleta marca X1000 20 Racing, por la calle Principal, de barrio Los Caballos, de Pantoja, donde fueron interceptados por la multitud del sector, motivado a que supuestamente el alistado lo habían visto en varias ocasiones cometiendo asaltos en el sector.
Fue de esa manera que los ocupantes de la citada motocicleta fueron detenidos por la multitud, frente a un colmado, y posteriormente ultimaron al agente policial mientras que su compañero logró escapar con rumbo desconocido.
De inmediato, la muchedumbre procedió a quemar la motocicleta en la cual se desplazaban y, según informaciones, el arma de reglamento del cabo Urbáez Encarnación la tienen dos hombres identificados solo como José y Joel.
La Policía Nacional amplía las investigaciones de este hecho para establecer las reales circunstancias en que ocurrieron los hechos.
