Santo Domingo. El presidente Danilo Medina partió a las 5:04 de la tarde de este miércoles, hacia Lima, Perú, para su participación en la III Cumbre Empresarial de las Américas y en la VIII Cumbre de las Américas.
Medina salió por el aeropuerto militar de la Base Aérea de San Isidro en compañía de la primera dama, Cándida Montilla de Medina, quien también agotará una agenda de trabajo.
La delegación oficial dominicana también es integrada por los ministros de Relaciones Exteriores, Miguel Vargas Maldonado, Administrativo de la Presidencia, José Ramón Peralta, de Hacienda, Donald Guerrero y el consultor jurídico del Poder Ejecutivo, Flavio Darío Espinal.
La comitiva también la integran el director general de Ética e Integridad Gubernamental, Lidió Cadet, el presidente del Consejo Nacional de la Empresa Privada (CONEP), Pedro Brache, el asistente especial del Gobernante, Carlos Pared, el jefe del Cuerpo de Seguridad Presidencial, mayor general Adán Cáceres y el portavoz del Gobierno y director general de Comunicación, Roberto Rodríguez Marchena.
