Dijo que vio a la adolescente una sola vez en consulta. “Después de eso, no tuve más contacto con esa paciente”, aseguró.
“Se trató de un chequeo prenatal a una adolescente con un embarazo de cinco meses normal, le prescribió una sonografía y le programé una cita para un viernes que nunca llegó por el fatal desenlace de los hechos”, expresó Taveras Vargas este martes en rueda de prensa.
La menor tenía un embarazo de 22 semanas y la doctora estimó que una paciente que quiera a su bebé acude a su chequeo prenatal.
Taveras Vargas recibió el espaldarazo del presidente del Colegio Médico Dominicano (CMD) en la provincia Duarte, José Polanco Liranzo, quien la defendió de los cuestionamientos y supuesta vinculación con los hechos que culminaron con el fallecimiento de Peguero Polanco. (Almomento.net)
