LA ROMANA.- Fueron identificados los tres hombres encontrados muertos, dos ellos calcinados en una yipeta, en la carretera que divide a los bateyes Higueral y Cacata, en esta provincia.
Las víctimas fueron identificados como Ángel Carrión Guzmán (Popo), Juan Gil Adames (Jesús Papeleta) y Gregorio Pérez Santana (Pito). El cadáver de Pito fue localizado a escasos metros en un bosque con múltiples impactos de balas.
Se informó que los tres hombres eran oriundos de La Romana.
Guzmán, quien al igual que Pito, residían en el sector La Aviación y había sido detenido en 2010 acusado de pertenecer a una banda que robaba motocicletas.
Dos de los cuerpos estaban en la parte trasera de la yipeta CRV y el otro cuerpo fuera del vehículo. Las autoridades fueron alertadas sobre el hecho alrededor de las 5:40 de la tarde del lunes.
Los cuerpos tenían unas 15 horas de haber fallecido, de acuerdo con el médico legista Benito Kelly.
Se informó que al lado del vehículo, el cual se quemó por completo, fue hallada un pedazo de placa y la Policía Científica colectó ocho casquillos calibre 9 milímetros.
El caso está en manos del fiscal Héctor Julio Matos y el Departamento de Investigaciones Criminales (DICRIM) de la regional Este de la Policía.
