Santo Domingo. Se podría catalogar como el secreto mejor guardado, hasta hoy, el trago amargo que les hizo tomar el humorista dominicano Julio Sabala a Raymond Pozo y Miguel Céspedes, al rechazar presentarse junto a ellos, luego de acordar varias presentaciones junto a los llamados Reyes del Humor.
Una fuente de muy entero crédito reveló a testigo.com.do que luego de gestiones hechas por el propio Julio Sabala para que el empresario artístico Félix Cabrera montara varios shows en el teatro United Palace de Nueva York, éste decidió armar una cartelera con otros artistas, debido a que el imitador llevaba un buen tiempo fuera del foco público.
Es así como acuerdan montarse sobre tres conciertos titulados “¡Dale vieja, dale!” que en principio sería protagonizado por Toño Rosario, Raymond Pozo y Miguel Céspede, en Lynn Auditorium, de Masachussett, teatro United Palace y Centro Night Club.
Todo marchaba bien, pensaba el empresario, hasta que se dio a conocer la publicidad del primer show, donde Sabala se anunciaba con una actuación especial.
El artista elevó una protesta porque su fotografía era más pequeña que la de los demás, por lo que Cabrera decidió colocar a todos los talentos en igualdad de condiciones.
Según la misma fuente, antes del primer evento Julio Sabala informó al empresario su decisión de no participar en las actividades.
Festival en Miami
El impasse fue manejado con mucha diplomacia por aristas y empresarios, pero cuando se pensaba que las aguas habían vuelto a su nivel, el segundo trago amargo llegó en bandeja de plata para Los Reyes del Humor, quienes formaban parte de la catelera de un festival que se llevará a cabo en un crucero que partirá de la ciudad de Miami, en febrero del 2019. Allí compartirían escena con Gente de Zona, Bonco Quiñongo y… Julio Sabala.
Esta semana recibieron la noticia de que el contrato para su actuación fue cancelado, “porque el señor Julio Sabala dice que no actúa con humoristas dominicanos”, fueron las palabras de uno de los ejecutivos de la empresa que los contrató.
Hoy tratamos de contactar a Raymond Pozo, Miguel Céspedes y Julio Sabala, pero se hizo imposible localizarlos.
