JARABACOA. Una persona resultó muerta y otra herida al chocar el vehículo en el que viajaban con una patana en el tramo de la carretera El Puerto-La Vega.
La víctima fue identificada como Dagoberto Calderón de la Cruz, quien falleció en el lugar del accidente. El herido fue trasladado al hospital Luis Morillo King de La Vega.
Calderón de la Cruz se dirigía a la universidad UCATECI a tomar clases de arquitectura cuando tuvo el accidente.
El joven trabajaba en un carwahs que funciona en la calle Independencia, frente a la Tinaja.
Conducía el carro Lexus, blanco, placa A 600124.
El herido, cuyo nombre no ha sido suministrado por las autoridades, fue auxiliado por los bomberos de Buena Vista, la Policía y miembros de la Cestur. (Rafael Peguero y Teofilo Bonilla/El Nacional).
