Muere madre de Fernando Villalona

Santo Domingo. «Se nos fue la vieja», con estas tristes palabras recibió Fernando Villalona nuestra llamada, al enterarnos de la muerte de su progenitora, la señora Virginia Arcadia Evora.

La madre el popular merenguero dominicano murió esta mañana tras padecer varias complicaciones de salud que la mantuvieron en cuidados intensivos, de Corazones Unidos, por unos 12 días.

Las redes de Villalona y algunos de sus hermanos exhibieron por varios días pedidos de oración por la salud de su madre, quien se mantuvo en estado delicado de salud.

Visiblemente afectado por la pérdida de su madre, Villalona habló vía telefónica a testigo.com.do y en sus palabras manifestó su tristeza, detallando que doña Arcadia murió alrededor de las 7:30 de la mañana de hoy.

“Estuvo interna 12 días en cuidados intensivos de Corazones Unidos, enferma de alzahimer, arritmia y otras complicaciones”, dijo El Mayimbe, quien junto a sus hermanos completa los 11 hijos que le sobreviven a la señora Arcadia.

El merenguero y sus familiares gestionaban el lugar en el que la velarían, el que adelantó, podría ser la funeraria Blandino de la avenida Abraham Lincoln.
