PUERTO PLATA. El conocido compositor y cantante cubano Pablo Milanés se presentará en el anfiteatro de esta ciudad, evento que está pautado para el 7 de octubre próximo, bajo la responsabilidad de la empresa Gialp Productions.
Desde ya se considera que la actuación del renombrado cantautor, oriundo de Bayazo, Cuba, marcará un hito para ese lugar público puertoplateño, en vista de que se trata de una de las figuras míticas de la canción popular de América.
Será esa la primera vez que Pablo se presenta en esta ciudad y lo hará para entregar un concierto de “Canciones para Siempre”, una propuesta intima y repleta de lo mejor de su música, para dar vida a lo más selecto de un repertorio que acumula más de 50 discos desde sus inicios en los años 60.
Temas como “Para vivir”, “Ya ves”, “Yo no te pido”, cantarán al amor junto a clásicos como “Yolanda” y “Te quiero porque te quiero”, formarán parte del evento, donde Milanés invocará a Nicolás Guillén para brindar su “Canción”, mejor conocida como “De que callada manera”, sin dejar de buscar “El breve espacio en que no está”.
En el concierto “Canciones para siempre” no podrán faltar los temas de profundo arraigo social y político, como “Yo pisaré las calles nuevamente”, “La vida no vale nada” o “Pobre del cantor.
El concierto permitirá dar a conocer nuevos proyectos de uno de los artistas cubanos más universales, los trabajos realizados junto a otros músicos cubanos como Miguel Núñez, Haydee Milanés y José María Vitier.
Pavel Núñez
El cantautor dominicano Pavel Núñez tendrá a su cargo la apertura del concierto, y se da por descontado que interpretará sus temas como “Te di”, “Betania”, Paso a paso”, “Dime si lo ves”, Al otro lado de la calle” y “Viene grande”. (Ricardo Rodríguez Rosa/El Nacional).
